"MY CHRISTMAS"

"Joy to the world the Lord has come, let Earth receive her King..." children singing from the top of their voices, cool wind, twinkling Christmas light like stars, people buying Christmas decors and gifts and lanterns hanging from each houses. Christmas is not all about those things, it's not about how expensive you dresses are, it's not about the money you'll earn but it's about love.

LOVE, Jesus is love. We all know that Jesus was born in Betlehem with no clothes to wear and lying on hay. He was the one who save us, who sacrificed His life. This Christmas we must not only think of ourselves, we must also think of the people who need our help, because for me the true essence of celebrating Christmas is sharing, giving and loving. Sharing, we must share the blessings that we have. Giving, give love to the people who needs our love,those who needs attention, care,understanding, and all the things we need. And the last but not the least, L-O-V-E. Love your neighbor the way you love yourself. As of now it is what we really need.Because we are really lacking of love. And I believe that love is the greatest we can have and give this Christmas.

Christmas is not about yourself, it's about what you do. We must not only give love during Christmas time but everyday. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

"IM INLOVE WITH MR.NOVEMBER!"

My November was full of excitement, it's great and fun. There were lot of activities to join. There were camping,cookfest,sayawit and a lot more!That was one of the busiest month for me.



I joined the camping in my school. Three days and two nights, all satisfaction, what would you ask for? First day, we built our tent, night came and we all ate. There was the opening program and it's fun, roaming around the campus. The boy scouts were present too, but who cares? Just enjoy! Cleaning myself is a hard task, I have to sacrifice, time and water must be lessen. And my secret as a girl..I can't deny, that's my problem "period". We slept late that night, starry sky, whispers and laughs from different tents, cellphone beeps and what else?TALK. We enjoyed our first night, we ate anything we see, talk again and giggle for some time. until we got tired of talking....all down....ZZzzz...The next day we woke up early, cooked the food, eat, attend the flag ceremony and out of the school. We went to Paratong,Vigan City for the community service. It's fun, teaching the kids and talking to them. When we got back, we cleaned ourselves and get ready for a game. Despite of my problem I still joined that game. I'm crazy, totally! At night we had our presentation and guess what we had the best attire. For our last day we went to church and headed to the Provincial Jail, I cried a lot in there, you know why? secret. After that we had a little program and time to say GOODBYE....

It's fun joining that camping. That was one of my memorable moments with my co-girl scouts. I love it very much. If there would be next time, I'll join .LOL..I'm in love with Mr.NOVEMBER!!!

"AFTER 'MY FIRST'....."

Second grading,Oh my God!Every lesson we've discussed seems like they have already faded in my mind. Well in our ICT, we learned more about HTML tags and we apply these by doing it on notepad. We still continue to post our blogs as usual. We still develops our skills and attitudes especially on discipline, but it's quite hard. We cant control ourselves.

Every grading period we encounter problems that makes our day even harder. We encounter problems like 1)typhoons 2)practices for competitions 3)suspension of classes 4)making projects and also our busy schedules. My other problem is I get sleepy during class, I usually yawn 10-30 times a day!Zzz...

If there were problems , there were also solutions. I addressed these problems by fighting or controlling my feelings not to get sleepy.Read and balancing my schedules.

Proving on I will still try my best to become a responsible student and be a good model to everyone. I will study harder and prepare for my third grading life. Rachel Star King fighting!!!!

TEACHER: HERO FOR A LIFETIME

They were the hero of my future,
They were my hero in times of trouble,
They were my hero when I‘m down,
Yes, they were my teachers all day round.

They were also the ones, who help me,
Either it’s a problem on school or in family,
And yes, I remember when I was in Elementary,
They taught me how to read those A, B, and C’s and count 1, 2, and 3.

When they notice that I don’t want to listen,
They would understand and ask “What’s the problem?”
After hearing us, they’d become our companion,
You can ask for advice in person or in phone.

But sometimes teachers are not always in good mood,
And if you keep on bullying around, the next thing they would do is to scold,
And after all those things they would still teach us, as soon as they could,
The next day surely they will feel happy and good.

They were also like my friends and family,
We always have those perfect moments and happy memories,
Memories that keeps me smiling when I feel gloomy,
Moments that will not end or live until eternity.

I can always compare them like the other comic superheroes,
Because like my family, they will still find me whenever I’m lost,
Having them in my life feels like I have been already saved before,
And I want to have heroes like them more.

OUR WORLD..THE WORLD OF SCIENCE

Typewriters to computers, mailings to cellphones, libraries or books to internet and all. We are now living in a modernize world, the world of technology. But how does these technologies made? It's through S-C-I-E-N-C-E, science.




Yes, science! Scientist are the cousins of inventors and they were both related to science. Because of science we are enjoying these inventions or technologies. Isn't it true that technologies makes our work faster, easier and lighter?Learning science is like knowing this world. A dapting these science cultures can help us in our progression. All we have can be improved and developed. By applying science new inventions can be made and use.Just like JApan, it's progressive. Japan has lots of technologies, one of the reason why they're popular.Our contry can be like Japan too, if we have wide and good knowledge about science and if we have "COOPERATION".Science culture isn't hard to learn instead it's very fun!



Science is a part of one's life everything we do there's science. Everything we have has Science. And Im a product of science.

We filipinos are known for our talents.We have unique cultures and traditions that makes foreign people amazed.But those are not only the things that makes us famous,it's about us,our language.



Filipino is the language that we are all proud of.As a filipino citizen i used it everytime and everywhere.Filipino language is the only language in the world and addition to that we the filipinos are only the ones using it.Our former and late president Manuel L. Quezon is the father of it,he was from Baler,Aurora.Because of his hardships we were able to have filipino as our language that's why im thankful.We must all realize that because of this language we were able to communicate and understand each other.Most of us now are using different language and some of us are even shy to use it.But why?Because of modernization?I hope not.Our heroes sacrificed their own lives for our country.Why won't we treasure those hardships and be more patriotic?Even in using our language we can be able to show our love and respect for it.



We must be proud that we are filipinos with a unique language.Let us show that our language is important.Love our language and our country.

"MY FIRST....."

The things I had learn in my first grading period is knowing the people involved in the invention of internet.The dates and places where the internet was first used.Ialso learned something about blogging,different search engines that can be used in making a research.Ialso discovered that making blog is a little bit long or it has a long process,you need to sign up and fill many questions or things.I also discovered how to edit,delete and post blog.I learned that you must be accurate or right in the informations you are posting otherwise people will contradict your ideas.

The problems i had encountered is in making my first blog.I spent a lot of time in getting my code and yet the internet is not cooperating with me,it's very slow.I can't wait anymore so i made another one.And this time it's more effective,so problem no.1 cleared.Second is on typing or posting,I had a hard time typing what I will post cause I will look at my paper first to be sure that what i'm typing is correct.

I address my problems by thinking what to do.In my problem in typing I asked my friend to dictate me the things written on my paper.I think it will be hard for me if my friend won't help me because my head go round by looking at my copy lying on the table,then type,then look at the monitor to check if what I typed is correct.And I already gone crazy cause that's a continuous process.

Proving on I will try my best not to depend on my friend this time whenever I type.i will also improve my writing skill to make a good,understandable and interesting composition.

"Speak to me in English please..."

"Speak to me in english please?"that is what we usually hear or read in our school.But many of us don't do it,we just say whatever we want using our dialects.

Speaking english properly with kindness must be done especially on us whose starting to do it well.In speaking english we are all trained to express ourselves in english.This will help us achieve our goals we desire.Because when you apply for work speaking english is neede.Don't just speak english do it kindly and politely.Speaking english is not just saying english words it is also learning.Sometimes when we are corrected on our grammars it means that we are also being taught.Speaking english is not a joke,to learn more about it we need to use it everyday.I believe that speaking english cannot be learn in just a day ,it takes time to learn it.In our school we are being taught with english because teachers know that to reach one's goal they also need a thought or idea about english or simply "knowledge".Making mistakes in speaking english is not bad instead it's for you to learn and understand.So speaking english properly with kindness is a great training for us staudents.It helps us do it nicely and correctly.

English is our universal language so each one of us must learn using it.It helps us in our future so ignore those people who thinks your trying hard.

"MY HEALTH, MY SUCCESS"

"Go, Grow, Glow"is what we need.Proper nutrition is the key to prevent lifestyle diseases. Nutritious food and proper hygiene can help us achieve our goals in life.

Parents these days especially moms are looking forward to their children's health because they believe that health will lead and bring their children to success and to have brighter future.They usually looks for one food that contains all nutrients from the food pyramid.It's possible but that's not enough because what they need is 100% and full nutrient.Eating the 3G's contributes to good health.The "Go" foods are good for our body to keep us energetic and alert because of the carbohydrates present on it."Grow" foods like cheese or butter and poultry are good for our bones and teeth to make them stronger. "Glow" foods which are rich in vitamins A, C and E.Vitamin A for clear eyesight, C for good resistance and E for smooth,clear and healthy skin. Eating junk food is no use because it's more on monosodium glutamate which is said to be not healthy or good for us.Having good health is so good it can help us a lot especially on preventing diseases.These diseases if not cured might become contagious ,worst it can be fatal or it can kill us.An example of disease is the swine flu.People think it's just an ordinary flu and nothing more but they don't know this can also be the cause of their death.Washing hands ,applying alcohols,using mask and keeping a clean body is also effective prevention but why not choose the cheaper one?Eating nutritious foods can help.

So now I can say that having a good health is a big help on our part.It can help us save money and everything.I also believe that not only nutritious food keep us healthy but also proper hygiene and exercise.So being healthy,at the same time having a good shape.Having a healthy mind and body is like winning the trophy.
